The Holy Qur’an is the Holy Book of Islam. It is a compilation of the verbal revelations given to the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) over a period of 23 years. It contains teachings and guidance for all mankind and reflects on the messages revealed to earlier prophets including Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them all) and obliges Muslims to believe in and respect them all without distinction.
