When in 1890, the ‘leaders’ of the three major religions of the Indian subcontinent: Hinduism, Islam and Christianity – rose almost in unison to denunciate Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) of Qadian, they were merely following the established pattern of response of ‘the learned’ and ‘religious leaders’ of past epochs each time a new Prophet of God appeared in their midst.
